Does IMN Solutions work only with specific hotel chains?
Does the decision making process remain with the client?
IMN Solutions functions in a support role performing tasks to free your time while still leaving the decision with you. Our objective is to present multiple hotel options for your meetings. You make the decision in choosing the option that best suits your needs. We then act on your behalf to negotiate a contract that protects your organization. Throughout the entire process, you make the decisions while IMN Solutions works to support you.
How can we be assured that we can’t get a better rate if we contact the hotel directly?
IMN Solutions books over one million room nights per year and through the combined power of all clients, we are able to negotiate the lowest group rate for your preferred dates. In addition, IMN Solutions regularly negotiates additional concessions from the hotel properties and insures that the contract terms are favorable to our clients, including greatly limiting or eliminating rooms attrition and food and beverage minimums.
The site selection and contract negotiation services you provide are at no cost to your clients. How are you compensated?
IMN Solutions believes in full disclosure to our clients of how we are compensated. The hotel properties pay a fee to IMN Solutions after your meeting has concluded. The fee is based upon the room revenue generated by your meeting. The fees are standard across all hotel properties insuring there is no advantage to IMN Solutions to work with one hotel over another. These fees are budgeted by the hotels and they do not increase room rates to compensate for our fees. Typically, hotels compete for our clients’ business offering lower rates than an association or non-profit acting independently would normally obtain. It isn’t just who calls the hotels, it is our reputation and volume that gives our clients an advantage.
If IMN Solutions is the primary contact in the location and negotiation process, what happens after the contract is signed?
The primary line of communication is directly between the hotel and our client with IMN Solutions acting in a support role. Usually, our client will work with a designated contact at the hotel for the logistical details required for the meeting. If any issues arise relating to the contract, IMN Solutions will step in to protect our clients’ interests.
If using IMN Solutions saves us time, obtains lower room rates, limits our contract liability and still leaves the decision making with us, is there any reason we shouldn’t use IMN Solutions?
